The Charlotte Hornets announced that wing Kon Knueppel will make his season debut on Wednesday night against the Brooklyn Nets. The 21-year-old has been sidelined at the start of the 2026-27 season while recovering from a left hamstring strain. His return provides a boost for a Charlotte team that has struggled with early-season injuries and currently holds a 3-5 record.
Knueppel led the NBA with 273 three-pointers as a rookie, and his return is expected to inject offense into Charlotte's lineup alongside Brandon Miller. Head coach Charles Lee may adjust the rotation accordingly, with Grayson Allen potentially seeing his minutes reduced as Knueppel re-enters the starting unit.
