New West Ham boss Scott Parker explains why he needed time out after Burnley…

Newly appointed West Ham United head coach Scott Parker has explained that he needed a break from management following a difficult two-year spell at Burnley. The 46-year-old manager, who succeeded Nuno Espirito Santo at the London club, stated that West Ham might have been the only club capable of tempting him back to work after departing Burnley in April.
Parker noted that experiencing both promotion and Premier League relegation with Burnley had taken a toll, requiring time away to regain his energy and enthusiasm. West Ham currently sits eighth in the Championship, and Parker expressed strong confidence that his previous experience earning three promotions will help lead the club back to the top flight.
