The Detroit Lions released their initial estimated injury report ahead of their Week 9 matchup against the Miami Dolphins following a Wednesday walkthrough. Safety Brian Branch was estimated as a limited participant as he works through concussion protocol, offering a positive sign for his availability. Several other Lions, including center Cade Mays, edge rusher DJ Wonnum, cornerback D.J. Reed, and linebacker Jack Campbell, were estimated as non-participants.
Head coach Dan Campbell confirmed safety Kerby Joseph will not play against Miami despite returning to limited practice reps. Linebacker Jimmy Rolder is out for the season due to a hamstring injury, while wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was listed as limited with a rib issue. For Miami, running back Jaylen Wright did not practice due to a quad injury, alongside several limited defenders including Chop Robinson and Zach Sieler.
