Villarreal striker Georges Mikautadze has expressed his readiness to join a major club following previous transfer speculation linking him to Barcelona. Speaking to L'Equipe, the 26-year-old forward revealed he has been a long-time admirer of Barcelona and noted that the transfer links serve as strong motivation for his career.
Mikautadze was linked with a potential permanent move to Barcelona last summer, though the Catalan club ultimately signed Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal instead. The striker has scored five goals in 15 appearances across all competitions for Villarreal so far this season.
