Paris Saint-Germain break an outrageous Champions League goalscoring record in their first-half rout of Villarreal on Tuesday evening.

Paris Saint-Germain set a new Champions League record by scoring four goals in just 16 minutes and two seconds against Villarreal. Joao Neves opened the scoring inside nine minutes, followed swiftly by strikes from Desire Doue, Senny Mayulu, and Fabian Ruiz at Estadio de la Ceramica. The rapid barrage put Luis Enrique's side firmly in control early in the first half.
Ruiz added his second goal of the night in the 50th minute, bringing PSG's score to 5-0. The commanding performance marked their fourth consecutive European victory this season, taking their tournament tally to 19 goals across four matches and continuing a nine-game winning run across all competitions.
