Celtic will not be without Hyunjun Yang in January this season after the Asian Football Confederation announced the postponement of the Asian Cup. Ongoing conflict…

Celtic will have winger Hyunjun Yang available in January following the Asian Football Confederation's decision to postpone the upcoming Asian Cup. The tournament, originally scheduled to take place in Saudi Arabia from January 7 to February 5, 2027, has been rescheduled to run from December 23, 2027, to January 21, 2028, due to regional developments and travel disruptions.
Yang previously suffered an injury while representing South Korea at the Asian Games and remains sidelined. However, once he recovers, manager Martin O'Neill can rely on him for the remainder of the season without losing him to international duty mid-campaign.
