San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama delivered a historic first-half performance against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night. In just one half of play, Wembanyama recorded 29 points, 15 rebounds, five assists, and two steals, alongside five blocks. According to ESPN, he became the first NBA player in the last 30 seasons to post at least 25 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks in a single half.
The stat line placed Wembanyama alongside franchise legends David Robinson and Tim Duncan as the only players in Spurs history to record at least 29 points, 15 rebounds, five blocks, and two steals in a game. Unlike Robinson and Duncan, who achieved the feat across full games, Wembanyama reached those numbers within the first half alone.
