Former Detroit Lions running back Jermar Jefferson landed with the Arizona Cardinals, signing to their practice squad.

The Arizona Cardinals have signed former Detroit Lions running back Jermar Jefferson to their practice squad after he completed a workout with the team. Jefferson previously spent time with the NFC North rival Minnesota Vikings during the offseason, but was released with an injury designation prior to the regular season.
Jefferson entered the NFL as a 2021 seventh-round pick by Detroit, appearing in nine games over four seasons. Meanwhile, the Lions continue to thrive offensively, leaning on backup Sione Vaki to complement starting running back Jahmyr Gibbs.
