Celtic supporters questioned the club's board and manager Martin O'Neill during an intense, multi-hour meeting hosted by the Greenock Celtic Supporters Club. Organizers clarified that the gathering had been in development for months rather than being a sudden reaction to recent results. Eight or nine different supporters clubs attended the session, which was held to directly address fan frustrations regarding communication and recent performances.
Discussions covered recruitment, Dermot Desmond, and long-term club objectives. The board confirmed that O'Neill remains on a one-year contract with an option, while Chief Executive Michael Nicholson indicated funds will be available for squad strengthening during the January transfer window. Supporters also pressed the leadership on transfer policy, explaining that transfer targets are reviewed by a four-man panel before the manager makes final recruitment decisions.
