There is no way the Boston Bruins are parting with James Hagens in a potential Dylan Larkin trade with the Detroit Red Wings.

The Boston Bruins are reportedly pursuing Detroit Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin, but prospect James Hagens represents a primary dealbreaker in trade talks. According to reporting from NHL journalist James Murphy, the Red Wings are asking for Hagens to initiate a deal, but Bruins general manager Don Sweeney will not consider parting with the young prospect.
Nestor Quixtan reports that the Bruins are instead attempting to interest Detroit in a package potentially featuring Pavel Zacha, Mason Lohrei, and a first-round draft pick. However, Larkin currently does not have Boston on his preferred trade list, and negotiations remain stalled while Detroit maintains a high asking price.
