Chelsea have been told to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold from Real Madrid with the former Liverpool defender struggling for game time in the Spanish capital at the moment…

Former Premier League defender Alan Hutton has suggested that Chelsea and manager Xabi Alonso should attempt to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold amid the full-back's reduced playing time at Real Madrid. Hutton argued that a return to the Premier League under Alonso would allow the 28-year-old to thrive and regain his best form after falling down the pecking order in Spain.
Alexander-Arnold joined Real Madrid on a free transfer in June 2025 but has struggled for consistent minutes since Jose Mourinho took charge over the summer. While Mourinho acknowledged the difficulty of leaving Alexander-Arnold on the bench in favor of Federico Valverde, the manager recently dismissed speculation surrounding a potential departure.
