Cricinfo has learned that Kieron Pollard will step aside from his duties with MI London primarily to get some time off…

Kieron Pollard is set to step down as the men's head coach of MI London ahead of the 2027 Hundred season. Pollard is relinquishing the position primarily to get some time off following his promotion to head coach of Mumbai Indians in the IPL, where he replaced Mahela Jayawardene in October. Pollard led MI London to a fourth-placed finish during the 2026 campaign.
His departure creates a second coaching vacancy at The Oval, following Surrey men's head coach Gareth Batty's move to Chennai Super Kings. Surrey co-owns the franchise alongside Reliance Industries Limited and is anticipated to recruit a coach who can potentially manage both county and Hundred responsibilities.
