The Pakistan Cricket Board has reportedly refused to issue No-Objection Certificates for players in the Abu Dhabi T10 League unless organizers pay $10,000 per player. This unexpected late demand has cast doubt on the participation of 16 Pakistani players who were selected during the draft on September 30, with the tournament scheduled to start on November 7.
Franchise owners must decide whether to pay the additional fee or recruit replacements just days before the event begins. According to the report, some players were willing to pay the fee from their own salaries, while the PCB previously demanded $25,000 per player for the Nepal Premier League, which saw Hussain Talat and Jahandad Khan feature while others departed.
