A trade proposal from CBS Sports suggests the San Francisco 49ers acquire veteran pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney from the Houston Texans. Under the proposed trade pitch, San Francisco would receive the three-time Pro Bowler and a 2027 seventh-round pick in exchange for a 2028 sixth-round draft pick ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline.
CBS Sports argues that adding Clowney would bolster the 49ers' defensive front rotation alongside newly acquired defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and Nick Bosa. San Francisco entered Week 9 with a 6-1 record while ranking 21st in the league in pressure rate, and the 33-year-old Clowney brings 68 career sacks.
