Florida Panthers forward Brad Marchand revealed that he initially feared a left knee injury suffered in early October could be career-ending. However, after beginning on-ice rehab within weeks, the 38-year-old expressed optimism about returning to game action within the next six weeks.
Marchand sustained the injury during a collision with a goal post in a game against the Los Angeles Kings. Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov is also nearing a return from his own knee injury and has been completing workouts alongside Marchand.
