Sandis Vilmanis recorded four points as the Florida Panthers defeated the Chicago Blackhawks 5-3, but Jacob Markström's struggles remain a concern.

Sandis Vilmanis scored two goals and registered four points to guide the Florida Panthers to a 5-3 home victory against the Chicago Blackhawks. Carter Verhaeghe, Seth Jones, and Sam Reinhart also added goals for Florida at Amerant Bank Arena, while goaltender Jacob Markström made 17 saves to improve his season record to 4-2-1.
Despite the victory, writer Ryan Gagne highlights concerns over Markström's recent form, noting his .850 save percentage allowed Chicago back into the contest. Florida built a 3-0 lead before conceding three times across the final two periods, but the team's power play continued its strong run with Verhaeghe's man-advantage tally.
