Predators get extra motivation for crucial Avalanche rematch in Colorado

The Nashville Predators look for extra motivation from their annual Fathers Trip as they face the Colorado Avalanche in Denver on Thursday night. Nashville enters the matchup riding a two-game winning streak and carrying points from four of their last five games, including a prior 6-2 victory over Colorado.

Lineup decisions remain unresolved ahead of the contest. Jonathan Marchessault was absent from Wednesday's practice with a day-to-day injury, while veteran Nicolas Hague has been recently scratched. A regulation win would pull the Predators level with the Avalanche in the standings.
