Martin O'Neill urged Celtic to focus on making it to the knockout stage of the Europa League after a comeback against Besiktas that reminded him of the glory days against the elite.

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill urged his team to target reaching the Europa League knockout stage following a thrilling 3-2 victory over Besiktas at Parkhead. Celtic secured their first points of the European campaign after substitute Camilo Duran scored a late 87th-minute winner to cap off a dramatic second-half comeback.
Besiktas initially took the lead through Junior Olaitan before substitute Callum Osmand leveled with his first touch. Duran then struck twice, sandwiching an 85th-minute equalizer from Orkun Kokcu, prompting O'Neill to praise his squad's determination and compare the atmosphere to famous European nights from his first managerial spell.
