Warriors’ Brandin Podziemski flexes a sweet but unexpected ride to Heat game

Golden State Warriors guard Brandin Podziemski caught attention ahead of Thursday's game against the Miami Heat by arriving at Chase Center on an electric scooter. The 23-year-old rode through the arena's underground parking garage casually dressed in a beanie, puffer jacket, and patterned pants. The entrance drew interest following Podziemski's recent five-year, $110 million rookie-scale contract extension signed in October.

After missing the season opener due to lower back soreness, Podziemski has helped the Warriors build a five-game winning streak to reach a 5-3 record. He scored 20 points in a 116-113 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Monday. The upcoming matchup also marks the return of former Warriors players Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins to Chase Center with the Heat.
