The Buffalo Bills began preparations for their Monday Night Football visit to Minnesota, and multiple key offensive pieces were absent on Thursday.

The Buffalo Bills opened Week 9 preparations for their upcoming Monday Night Football game against the Minnesota Vikings with several notable injury updates. Wide receiver DJ Moore and running back James Cook participated in Thursday's practice following in-game evaluations during Week 8. Right tackle Spencer Brown also returned to the field after missing the previous contest, while starting offensive linemen Dion Dawkins and Alec Anderson were absent during the media-viewing session.
Moore wore a red non-contact jersey to protect a shoulder issue, while Cook participated wearing a guardian cap after being evaluated for a head injury last week. The Bills were also without backup defensive tackle Greg Gaines, running back Ty Johnson, and wide receiver Josh Palmer, who is expected to miss multiple weeks due to a pulled hamstring.
