Promoter Frank Warren has dismissed rumors that Tyson Fury sustained an injury ahead of his planned fight against Anthony Joshua. The two British heavyweights are scheduled to meet on December 11 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium for the WBA 'super' title. Warren stated to Boxing News that speculation regarding an injury was completely new to him.
The rumors originated from former heavyweight champion Frank Bruno, who claimed during an interview that Fury picked up an injury in training camp. Joshua previously defeated Kristian Prenga in his last bout, while both fighters are aiming to become three-time world champions.
