The Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers released their Thursday practice participation report ahead of their upcoming Week 9 matchup. Denver received encouraging news as safety Talanoa Hufanga returned to practice as a limited participant for the first time in a month due to an ankle injury. However, fellow safety Brandon Jones missed practice for the second consecutive day with a hamstring issue, raising doubts about his availability.
Several other Broncos players sat out Thursday, including Kris Abrams-Draine and Eyioma Uwazurike. Meanwhile, Zach Allen and Courtland Sutton returned to full participation. For the Panthers, quarterback Bryce Young practiced fully despite an ankle concern, while key contributors including Damien Lewis, Bobby Okereke, and Jaelan Phillips were among those who did not participate.
