McLeish does not want the Old Firm to be a “hard luck story” for St Mirren as he prepares for the visit of Rangers in the Premiership on Saturday night.
St Mirren manager Craig McLeish stated his team must stop being a "hard luck story" against the Old Firm ahead of their upcoming Premiership clash against Rangers on Saturday night. McLeish emphasized that the Buddies want to move beyond receiving praise for close defeats and instead secure positive results against Glasgow's top two clubs.
Since McLeish took charge in March, St Mirren have suffered several narrow losses to both Celtic and Rangers, including a recent 1-0 defeat at Ibrox. McLeish noted that his squad intends to adjust tactics and provide unpredictable challenges to Rangers despite having to adapt to player availability.
