Xabi Alonso sweating on a number of key fitness issues before Stadium of Light clash…

Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso faces several fitness decisions ahead of Sunday's Premier League match against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Goalkeeper Emi Martinez returned to training wearing a protective face mask after jaw surgery, with a final session set to determine his availability. Midfielder Moises Caicedo is also being assessed after reporting discomfort following Chelsea's 2-0 win over Manchester United.
Alonso remains without several key players, including Reece James, Joao Pedro, Maxence Lacroix, Jorrel Hato, and Jamie Gittens. However, defender Aaron Anselmino has returned to training after an injury, while Romeo Lavia and Estevao could keep their starting spots.
