Aaron Glenn ruled out New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson ahead of Week 9, and no, that does not mean the team is trading him ahead of the deadline.

Aaron Glenn has officially ruled out New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson for Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a concussion. Glenn also ruled out linebacker Trevin Wallace with a groin injury, while defensive lineman Harrison Phillips is questionable. In positive news for New York, running back Breece Hall is confirmed to return following a five-game absence.
The Jet Press pushes back against online speculation that Wilson is being sidelined for trade purposes, noting he sustained a legitimate head injury on an illegal hit against the Las Vegas Raiders. With Wilson unavailable, Adonai Mitchell and Omar Cooper Jr. are expected to see expanded opportunities against Kansas City.
