Sunderland are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
Former Premier League winger Matt Jarvis has backed Sunderland to turn their campaign around despite a difficult start to the Premier League season. Regis Le Bris' side sits bottom of the table after collecting just five points from their opening nine matches ahead of an upcoming clash against Chelsea.
Speaking to Midnite, Jarvis attributed Sunderland's struggles to "second-season syndrome" and the demands of balancing domestic fixtures with Europa League competition. He expressed confidence that the squad's work ethic, quality, and managerial leadership will eventually steer them out of relegation danger.
