The Story in 60 Seconds

LeBron James and Luka Dončić have had an attorney send a cease-and-desist letter to PlayVision Inc., the sports technology company behind the Bron AI sports betting app. The legal action followed a viral video advertisement that featured an unauthorized likeness of James' voice, distinctive walk, and physical appearance, including arm tattoos and back structure. James currently holds an exclusive endorsement deal with Polymarket.

Although the advertisement showed James from behind wearing a jersey that said "Bron" instead of "James," the resemblance and voice mimicry prompted his legal team to demand the startup halt unauthorized usage immediately.
