Buffalo Bills called out for NFL's "Biggest Deadline Trade Mistake" of last decade.

Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski identified the Buffalo Bills' 2017 acquisition of wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin as the NFL's biggest trade deadline mistake of the last decade. In that deal, Buffalo sent their 2018 third- and seventh-round draft picks to the Carolina Panthers, expecting Benjamin to serve as a dominant red-zone mismatch.
However, Benjamin struggled during his tenure in Buffalo, catching only 39 passes and two touchdowns across 18 appearances before the franchise released him in 2018. Originally a 2014 first-round selection out of Florida State, Benjamin had previously recorded 1,949 receiving yards during his first two healthy seasons with Carolina.
