The Hammers also signed former Dallas Stars prospect Antonio Stranges to a PTO.

The Hamilton Hammers, the American Hockey League affiliate of the New York Islanders, have signed forward Robby Fabbri to a professional tryout contract. Fabbri began the 2026-27 season as an unsigned free agent following a 2025-26 season split between the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild, during which he tallied five points in 21 regular-season NHL games.
The 30-year-old forward has registered 221 points across 463 career NHL games and won a Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019. Additionally, the Hammers signed forward Antonio Stranges to a PTO as they attempt to improve upon their last-place standing in the AHL's North Division.
