Tottenham Hotspur's former record signing is now 29 and a free agent.

Former Tottenham Hotspur record signing Tanguy Ndombele is currently without a club at age 29, with his market valuation falling to just £1.67 million. Tottenham signed the midfielder from Lyon for upwards of £64 million in 2019, but he managed just 91 appearances for the Premier League side.
Following loan spells at Lyon, Napoli, and Galatasaray, Tottenham mutually terminated Ndombele's contract in 2024. He subsequently joined Ligue 1 side Nice on a free transfer, but became a free agent again after being released in summer 2026, recently completing a trial with Russian outfit Rubin Kazan.
