The Milwaukee Bucks passing on Kyshawn George in the NBA Draft is one of their worst moves of the decade.

Writer Dalton Sell argues that the Milwaukee Bucks' decision to pass on Kyshawn George in the 2024 NBA Draft is becoming one of the franchise's worst mistakes of the decade. Instead of selecting George, the Bucks chose AJ Johnson one pick earlier, despite George reportedly receiving strong pre-draft feedback from Milwaukee during an individual workout.
Sell highlights that George has emerged as a rising star for the Washington Wizards, averaging 17.3 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.3 rebounds per game in his third season. Meanwhile, Johnson failed to secure a lasting role in Milwaukee and was traded in a deal for Kyle Kuzma.
