Coventry City were beaten 3-1 by Everton on a busy night for VAR…

Frank Lampard voiced frustration over three major refereeing and VAR decisions following Coventry City's 3-1 defeat against Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Coventry led early in the second half through Yann Gboho's first goal for the club, but Everton responded with a brace from Thierno Barry and a late goal from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to claim victory.
Lampard highlighted an unpunished hair pull by James Tarkowski on Caleb Yirenkyi, a foul by Vitali Mykolenko on Taiwo Awoniyi, and an alleged handball on Barry's second goal. He stated that he saw an angle showing Barry handled the ball and argued that decisions going their way would have changed the game.
