Much of the attention for the Miami Dolphins' rookie receivers has been on Caleb Douglas and Chris Bell, but it was Kevin Coleman Jr. who stood out in Week 9.

Writer Shayne Kubas argues that the Miami Dolphins need to adjust how they utilize rookie receiver Kevin Coleman Jr. to maximize his impact following his touchdown against the New England Patriots. Coleman led the team with 46 receiving yards, including a 35-yard touchdown reception from Malik Willis, but has totaled just eight catches on 21 targets for 82 yards this season.
Kubas notes that Coleman's role differs significantly from college, where he primarily played in the slot with a shorter average depth of target. According to the article, Miami's heavy use of 21 personnel has limited slot opportunities, and the writer believes offensive coordinator Bobby Slowik should integrate Coleman into the short and intermediate passing game.
