The Hornets faced another Brandon Miller injury scare as Charles Lee provided a concerning update on Kon Knueppel's recovery.

Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller exited Friday night's matchup against the Boston Celtics after appearing to suffer an injury during the second quarter. Miller headed to the locker room with 7:14 remaining in the period and did not immediately return. The Hornets did not release an immediate update regarding the nature or severity of his injury, delivering another blow to a team on a five-game losing streak.
Miller's departure compounds ongoing injury issues for Charlotte, following another setback for Kon Knueppel, whose season debut Wednesday ended after less than six minutes due to leg discomfort. Head coach Charles Lee indicated the staff requires more time to assess Knueppel's status. Charlotte also entered Friday's contest missing Moussa Diabaté, Dennis Schröder, and Grant Williams.
