Following a 5-3 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes, the New York Islanders demonstrated several lineup adjustments during Friday's practice. Head coach Pete DeBoer shuffled his forward combinations and power-play units ahead of Saturday's matchup against the New Jersey Devils.
Changes included Emil Heineman joining Bo Horvat and Kyle Palmieri, while Ondrej Palat skated alongside Brayden Schenn and Victor Eklund. Additionally, Ben Hutton could make his team debut, and goaltender Ilya Sorokin is expected to start.
