West Ham midfielder Soungoutou Magassa took to Instagram to share his optimism following his recall to the starting lineup by new manager Scott Parker. Magassa posted that he was back after seven months and added that the best is yet to come, reflecting on his extended absence under former manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
The 23-year-old French midfielder arrived from Monaco for roughly £17.5m but spent the majority of the campaign sidelined under Nuno following off-pitch tensions. Parker recalled Magassa for his first major team selection, having previously followed the midfielder's development while he played in France.
