The Chicago Blackhawks have a nice goal scorer in Roman Kantserov. He is a bright spot on a bad team.

Writer Vinnie Parise argues that rookie forward Roman Kantserov has emerged as a major bright spot for the struggling Chicago Blackhawks amid a poor 4-12-1 start. Playing alongside Connor Bedard on the top line, Kantserov recorded a point in seven consecutive games, becoming the first Blackhawks rookie to accomplish the feat since Jonathan Toews in 2007-08.
Kantserov leads all NHL rookies with eight goals and sits tied for fourth in rookie scoring with ten points. Parise notes that while fellow rookie Anton Frondell offers strong two-way play, Kantserov's goal scoring makes him an early Calder Trophy candidate and a crucial long-term asset for Chicago.
