Islanders Gameday News: Line shuffling

The New York Islanders are preparing to host the New Jersey Devils before embarking on their annual fall road trip to California. Entering the matchup following consecutive regulation losses for the first time this season, the Islanders adjusted their forward combinations during practice. Pete DeBoer altered the lineup, placing Ondrej Palat into a top-six forward role alongside Brayden Schenn and Victor Eklund.

The Devils enter the contest in strong form, featuring goaltender Connor Hellebuyck following his trade from the Winnipeg Jets. In addition to the reshuffled forward units, defenseman Ben Hutton could potentially make his debut for the Islanders against New Jersey.
