Cadwallader had worked with the All Blacks for a decade before his sudden death.

The All Blacks and Scotland honored New Zealand's late head of security Logan Cadwallader before their Nations Championship test at Murrayfield. Cadwallader, who had been part of the All Blacks set-up for a decade, died suddenly at the team's hotel near the start of their tour. Coach Dave Rennie reflected on the emotional week, stating that the team visited the funeral home and felt determined to put in a performance in his memory.
Cadwallader's son and brother stood alongside the team during the national anthem, followed by a moment of applause that also honored former Scotland player Ally Donaldson. Additionally, both teams wore jerseys featuring embroidered poppies ahead of Remembrance Sunday.
