The league-leading Hurricanes look to extend Chicago’s winless road streak before heading overseas, while the struggling Blackhawks search for an upset behind young star Connor Bedard in Raleigh.
The Carolina Hurricanes host the Chicago Blackhawks at Lenovo Center in their final matchup before departing for the NHL Global Series. Carolina enters the contest leading the league with a 13-3-2 record following a 5-3 victory over the New York Islanders. In contrast, the Blackhawks arrive on a five-game losing streak and remain winless on the road this season, having previously lost 5-2 to Carolina on October 10.
Projected starting goaltenders feature Pyotr Kochetkov for the Hurricanes against Spencer Knight for Chicago. Carolina's offense is highlighted by point streaks from Jackson Blake and Logan Stankoven, while Sebastian Aho leads the team with 23 points. Chicago's lineup features Connor Bedard alongside Roman Kantserov, though the team remains without injured skaters Patrick Kane and Bowen Byram.
