Following a day off and ahead of their game tomorrow against the 'Bolts, the Jets hit the ice today for a skate.
The Winnipeg Jets returned to the ice for practice on Saturday ahead of their matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Defenceman Josh Morrissey took part in the skate wearing a regular jersey for the first time following an injury. Meanwhile, defenceman Elias Salomonsson and forward Dawson Mercer were both absent from the session.
Head coach Scott Arniel announced that Salomonsson is away from the team dealing with a personal matter, while Mercer missed practice for maintenance. Arniel did not confirm Morrissey's availability for the upcoming game, noting the team will evaluate how he feels on game day.
