Orsolini praise for Bologna coach Palladino is damning for Tedesco

Riccardo Orsolini praised new Bologna manager Raffaele Palladino after scoring in a 2-1 away victory against Parma on November 7, 2026. The win marked Bologna's fourth consecutive Serie A victory following a run of wins against Cagliari, Milan, Monza, and Parma. Speaking after the match, Orsolini highlighted the team's revived form under Palladino while noticeably omitting former coach Domenico Tedesco from the list of managers he enjoyed playing for.

Tedesco was dismissed on September 16 after collecting just one point across Bologna's first four Serie A games. Since Palladino's arrival, Bologna have drawn one match and won five of six, losing only to Inter. Orsolini noted that the squad has rediscovered its smile, with his goal against Parma serving as his second in five appearances following a month sidelined with a thigh injury.
