Why Rams can’t afford to underestimate the Commanders in Week 9

Bret Stuter writes that the Los Angeles Rams cannot afford to overlook the Washington Commanders in their upcoming Week 9 matchup. The 4-4 Rams travel to face the 2-4-1 Commanders, needing a victory to push their record above .500 and remain competitive in the postseason race.

The Rams enter the road contest managing injuries, including losing cornerback Jaylen Watson for the season and quarterback Matthew Stafford dealing with arm soreness. Stuter notes Washington enters fresh off a bye week and features dual-threat rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, making them a significant challenge.
