The Washington Commanders activated defensive tackle Jer’Zhan Newton from injured reserve on Saturday afternoon and placed wide receiver Dyami Brown on injured reserve. Newton returns ahead of Sunday's game against the Los Angeles Rams after practicing in full all week following a pectoral injury. His return provides needed depth after Washington lost both starting defensive tackles to season-ending surgeries.
Meanwhile, Dyami Brown was placed on injured reserve due to a calf injury sustained in Thursday's practice, making him ineligible to return until Week 13. With receiver Treylon Burks also ruled out with a foot injury, the Commanders elevated wide receiver Jaden Bradley from the practice squad for Sunday's matchup.
