Atlético Ottawa and Cavalry FC have advanced to the 2026 Canadian Premier League Final after winning their respective semifinal second-leg ties. Nicolas Fleuriau Chateau recorded the first hat trick in CPL playoff history, scoring in the 103rd minute to earn Ottawa a 3-2 victory over Forge FC, advancing 5-4 on aggregate. Later, Cavalry FC secured a 2-0 home victory against FC Supra du Quebec to advance 3-2 on aggregate.
Ottawa reached their second straight final behind Fleuriau Chateau's decisive late goal, which arrived moments after Dan Nimick's 101st-minute penalty had tied the match.
