Liverpool have reportedly set their sights on signing Brighton and Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen, according to Football Insider. With Alisson Becker's contract set to expire next summer, Liverpool have begun assessing options for a permanent goalkeeping addition and could make a move for the 24-year-old Dutch international next year.
Verbruggen is under contract with Brighton until 2028 and is valued at around £34 million by Transfermarkt. Brighton are expected to demand a substantial transfer fee to part ways with the Netherlands' first-choice goalkeeper, whom Liverpool view as a potential target for either the January transfer window or next summer.
