Xabi Alonso could raise eyebrows when he names the Chelsea starting lineup to face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this afternoon.

Football London reporter Jake Stokes has predicted Chelsea's starting lineup for Sunday's Premier League clash against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Stokes forecasts that manager Alonso will start Estevao Willian in a central attacking role behind Cole Palmer as a false nine, while Moises Caicedo is projected to rejoin Romeo Lavia in midfield if passed fit.
In goal, Stokes argues Mike Penders should start over Emiliano Martinez, who is recovering from jaw surgery. The predicted lineup also includes Pep Chavarria returning on the left flank, with Pedro Neto and Morgan Rogers operating wide.
