Liverpool will look to sign 24-year-old Netherlands international Bart Verbruggen from Brighton & Hove Albion next summer.

Liverpool are targeting a permanent transfer for Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen as they prepare for the potential departure of Alisson Becker. According to Pete O'Rourke on Football Insider, the Reds are actively identifying replacements for Alisson and have identified the 24-year-old Netherlands international as an ideal candidate.
Verbruggen has made over 100 appearances for Brighton since arriving from RSC Anderlecht in July 2023. Any pursuit will reportedly face competition from top European clubs, while Liverpool also have Giorgi Mamardashvili and incoming prospect Lucca Brughmans in their future goalkeeping plans.
