Who is Arjun Rajput? India star who smashed brilliant century against Pakistan in U19 Asia Cup

India Under-19 batter Arjun Rajput struck a sensational 80-ball century against Pakistan Under-19 in the Asia Cup in Doha. Coming to the crease after India slumped to 42 for 4, the left-hander staged a remarkable fightback at the Al Amerat Cricket Ground to put his team in contention.

Hailing from Jalandhar, Punjab, Rajput previously captained Punjab Under-16 to the Vijay Merchant Trophy title in the 2022-23 season. A right-arm off-spinner as well as an aggressive batter, he also featured prominently in the Sher-E-Punjab T20 Cup and recorded strong all-round displays against Sri Lanka, Australia, and Nepal.
