New York Knicks guard Tyler Kolek answered 'Taylor Swift' when asked their 'fakest celebrity fan' and has now responded to the huge backlash he has faced from her fans in the aftermath.

New York Knicks guard Tyler Kolek addressed the intense backlash he received after labeling Taylor Swift the "fakest celebrity Knicks fan" during an NBA2K League segment. Speaking after playing 14 minutes in a 109-97 victory over Cleveland, Kolek walked back his comments, admitted he was misspoken, and stated that he was previously unaware of Swift's history of attending Knicks games.
Kolek emphasized his personal appreciation for Swift's music, claiming he listens to her songs and knows more of her tracks than anyone else on the roster. The Knicks organization also stepped in, issuing a public statement that reaffirmed Swift's long-standing support for the team and her history with Madison Square Garden.
